It has been our experience over the last 25+ years, spending time on both the supplier and client side of research, that the typical corporate research staff is overwhelmed with dealing with multiple projects, many of them with unique and independent objectives. There is rarely time, or sometimes even a desire, to look at all of these different pieces as a collective whole. However, by doing so a more holistic story can be developed involving all aspect s of the research being undertaken, providing a more efficient and more informative use of the research dollar. As an independent resource, we help our clients focus on the big picture. Since we don’t have a hand in any of the individual pieces, we can provide that objective voice – the “strategic oversight” – that is required to cut through the clutter and the biases.
