Our beliefs - what we consider to be true - and the information that informs them, lead to the decisions we make which result in our outcomes.
When we want different outcomes, we are quick to make different decisions. It is the individual or organization that goes one step further back, though, to the beliefs and information that informs those decisions, that will find real change in their outcomes. We typically speak of this as a Research Decision Continuum™.
We are firm believers in the old adage of, “What motivates you is what motivates you!”
It may sound silly, but…
... we exist in a business environment that is driven by meeting certain goals and objectives. Often, we don’t know the reason why these goals and objectives have become such. Understanding the “why’s” behind them – the motivations – gives you an advantage in reaching those targets. To aid in this understanding, we have developed what we call the Research Motivational Framework™.
“The whole is (always) greater than the sum of its parts.” (Aristotle was right!)
Synergy – (noun) the interaction of elements that when combined produce a total effect that is greater than the sum of the individual elements, contributions, etc.
We believe this to be true in virtually every aspect of life. As a team, the sum of our individual contributions never reaches the level that we can attain when we work together toward a common goal. Likewise, with research, combining all of the different elements provides us with far greater learning and understanding of the underlying truth than simply looking at each component in isolation.
